Now students
would be happy with the initiative which recently Nawaz League take for
undergraduates. Which will benefit them to get internships and will pay Rs
12,000 monthly stipend for one year to each graduate.
The
Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC), the country’s highest
decision making body, on Friday 4thSeptember
approved ten projects worth Rs 125 Billion, including the 23.6 billion Prime
Ministers Youth Training Scheme aimed at providing practical work to 150,000 fresh
graduates of universities over the next three years.
Before
students were struggling to get internships even it was very difficult to get
unpaid internships and were facing problems because one can’t get a job in well
reputed organizations without experience, now this problem has been solved and
is beneficial for all graduates.
College graduates with 16 years of
education will be eligible for the scheme, said Inter-Provincial Coordination
Secretary Ijaz Chaudhry., who will be placed in organizations from 150 fields,
depending upon their qualification. This
scheme is not limited to Government Departments only, and private sector is
also included in this project.
In 2008 this
scheme was started by Pakistan People’s Party as well but that didn’t work well
because it was started in the first year of their government and was limited to
only Government departments.
Before this a
project PMLN HEC laptop scheme has distributed laptops to deserving students
countrywide. And will start its registration again for new students.
